We were tasked with creating a theatrical serve that dramatises the Talisker Tidal Churn liquid story - a scotch whisky that harnesses the ocean's power through a stone-spun cask finish.
Project overview
To do this, we engineered a serve plinth embodying four conceptual pillars: oceanic movement, Isle of Skye terroir, organic yet luxurious textures, and liquid enhancement. The result is a natural stone vessel cradling a Talisker cocktail atop two spinning plates. The Talisker compass dial activates the 'Tidal Churn,' powered by hidden magnets. This allows the drinker to gently blend the crafted cocktail, amplifying Talisker Tidal Churn’s unique flavours. Simultaneously, a gold atomiser sprays smoked sea salt, further elevating the experience. This innovative serve not only blends the cocktail to perfection but also releases the terroir trapped within the ingredients. As customers churn, they unlock subtle mineral notes that evolve, creating a multi-sensory journey through Talisker's oceanic essence.
